Screenshots of the GoogleOS?

Posted on Thursday 8 September 2005 Joey Primiani

This Chinese site indicate that they claim to have possession of the rumored Google OS.

Doubtful, I would except to say that it looks fake to me. Not only does Google have a secret OS in the works, but we’re supposed to believe that they’ve got a spreadsheet app and a word processor to boot? They appear to be using a simple transparent theme too.

According to the site, the OS is based on Linux, can boot off of a USB thumb drive, and will run its applications from a central Google server. What do you think?

    Google OS Screenshot?

Is this the real thing, or just a fake as many have suggested?

Isn’t Google working with Sun to develop a web based version of the Open Office app? Maybe that’s what we’re seeing here.

I would love this if it were real, Just plug my pan drive into any online PC and run my own crap, not someone elses.

I’m in love with the Dream anyway.
